Theatre Arts: Course Description
Utah State University Professor, Dr. David Sidwell, engages students with his curriculum designed to intrigue and captivate his audience. Teaching theatre as a form of fun, Professor Sidwell shows students how it can be used throughout their daily lives. It was the ancient Greeks who first brought theatre to the world in the 4th century. Used as an expressive way to demonstrate one's artistic abilities, humans have also been using theatre as a way to escape the daily turmoil of their lives for centuries. Though theatre has changed considerably since the 4th century, today it still plays an important part in our society whether on Broadway or a school stage.
