Microeconomic Theory IV: Course Description

A number of basic concepts that underline business agreements are covered in this course. A thorough study of the field of information economics includes information on uncertainty choices, averse and moral hazards, and decision making strategies when faced with imperfect information. The course consists of 12 lectures that examine these and other subjects. Graduate students who complete this course will have a solid foundation for future studies in contract theory. This course is taught by Professor Bengt Holmstrom, of MIT, who recommends three texts dealing with microeconomic topics.
