Electronics communications is the science of transmitting several types of communications over a distance. Associate's Degree in Electronics Communications Course Curriculum

An Associate of Applied Science degree in electronics communications often focuses on communications within computer technology and fiber optics. This major prepares students for a variety of career opportunities in technical fields, such as network field technician, electro-optic technician and cellular or microwave technician. Students take fundamental courses that equip them with basic knowledge of electronic circuits and devices, digital and microprocessor systems, computers and software tools. Course topics include digital electronics, college algebra, software tools, systems troubleshooting applications and engineering technology. An associate's degree in electronic communications consists of around 60 credits, takes two years and can be applied toward a bachelor's degree.

Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Communications Course Curriculum

Bachelor's degrees in electronics communications take four years and focus on science, engineering and mathematics.
