As most of the world is involved in international trade and commerce, cutting edge companies are developing new ways to succeed in the global market. International stock markets, sophisticated communication technologies and advancements in shipping and manufacturing allow companies to operate in one part of the world while making use of resources across the globe. Investors, manufacturers, vendors and employees may be hundreds or thousands of miles away from a company's center of operations. In MIT's 'G-Lab: Global Entrepreneurship Lab' OpenCourseWare, students explore the difficulties and opportunities faced by these globalized companies, including issues of corruption, international trade law and unpredictable markets. Offered by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management this graduate-level course is taught by Professors Richard Locke, Shari Loessberg, Yasheng Huang, M. Jonathan Lehrich and Kenneth Morse.
