Behavioral Science Bachelor's Degree Overview
Summary of the Degree
The Behavioral Science degree program will integrate knowledge from two different disciplines: Neural-Decision Science and Social-Communication Science. Neural-Decision Science is the study of how biology affects and is affected by decision making, and Social-Communication Science explores how language and communication affects social interaction, interpersonal relationships, and the individual.
Skills Obtained
A Behavioral Science Bachelor's Degree Program will teach students about the effects of human reactions and emotions on social interaction, decision-making, and relationships. Students will learn about the way people communicate and interact. They will also study cultural norms and standards, and should learn to understand root causes of social diseases such as racism, classism, or gender bias.
