Introduction to MEMS (Microelectromechanical Systems): Course Description

By using fundamental skills taught in this course along with a background in Electrical Engineering, undergraduate students can gain a better understanding of how to design micro-machining process flows. The 'Introduction to MEMS (Microelectromechanical Systems)' OpenCourseWare provides students with the ability to formulate, solve and identify MEMS manufacturing-related problems. Through this course, students should be able to develop a basic design for components of MEMS and select an appropriate production process. This course is taught by UC Berkeley lecturer Liwei Lin.

Lectures are available in the form of free downloadable audio files. To learn more about this free class, visit the microelectromechanical systems course page.
