General Science: Course Description
Taught by Dr. Tas Bedford as part of the University of Southern Queensland's Tertiary Preparation Program, the 'General Science' course is designed to help prepare students interested in going into the fields of science or nursing. The 'General Science' OpenCourseWare addresses how to effectively communicate and demonstrate understanding in the various fields of science. Topics include the various branches of science, safety in science, the science of the human body and how to study science using measurements, experimentation and analysis. The distance-degree-based course uses readings, modules and experiments to strengthen students' foundational understanding of science.
