To enroll in a database certification course at the college level, students must submit an application for admissions along with official high school transcripts. Database certification students may be required to take admissions tests in math, reading and writing, then meet with a counselor to go over exam results, according to Central Piedmont Community College, www.cpcc.edu. Certificate students are also encouraged to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to find out if they qualify for any financial aid programs.
