In this free OpenCourseWare from MIT, students can explore the geochemical principles used to study organic matter. Focusing primarily on chemical fossils, the 'Advanced Seminar in Geology and Geochemistry: Organic Geochemistry' OpenCourseWare will help students understand how to use chemical markers to obtain information about the formation and structural properties of organic matter.
