AP Physics C (Newtonian Mechanics): Course Description

Sir Isaac Newton is credited with discovering the basic laws of motion which are used to explain relationships between forces acting on an object and the motion of the object. 'AP Physics C: Newtonian Mechanics' is designed to introduce high-school students to Newton's discoveries and their real-life applications. The OpenCourseWare content covers materials suggested by the College Board as essential to preparing students to pass the AP Physics C exam. Newton's theories relating to laws of motion, momentum, gravitation, electricity and magnetism are explored with an emphasis on problem solving.

This OpenCourseWare includes a complete reading list, lectures notes, interactive simulation lessons and example problems and solutions.
