Particle Physics: Course Description

'Particle Physics', OpenCourseWare from MIT, was originally taught by Professor Min Chen. The course investigates current high-energy physics research. SM (Standard Model) is developed, first from the bottom up then from the top down. Other topics covered include neutrino oscillations, compositeness, technical color, B factory, SM high-precision tests and linear colliders. A selection of specific lecture topics includes quarks, gluons, Dirac formalism and radiative corrections. The original MIT course was a class option in the Bachelor of Science in Physics degree program.

This OpenCourseWare includes a reading list, course lectures notes and sample class projects and assignments. To view this varied study content, visit the physics course page.
