Superconductivity: Course Description

'Superconductivity' is an advanced undergraduate-level OpenCourseWare offered by The Open University's Science Department. This course gives students a brief history of superconductors and their properties. Students will learn how to model and predict the properties of superconductors, so students should have an understanding of physics before taking this course. Students will also learn about the two types of superconductors and their practical applications, such as computers and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines. Students can expect to complete this course in about 12 hours.
