Physical Chemistry II: Course Description

Conceived as the continuation of 'Physical Chemistry I', 'Physical Chemistry II' offers an in-depth examination of statistical mechanics, solid state chemistry and kinetics. Transport properties, chemical reaction dynamics and kinetic theory are a few of the other subjects that are touched upon during this undergraduate-level course. Several thermodynamic properties are also discussed, such as entropy and enthalpy. This OpenCourseWare is offered by Professors Robert Field and Robert Guy Griffin of MIT.

Available with this course are a full set of lecture notes, as well as an extensive list of suggested reading. Several exams are also available for download. If you're interested in taking this free course, visit the physical chemistry course page.
