Bonding and Structure: Course Description

Professor Tony Cusanelli brings his insight on chemistry to those interested in self-directed study with his course 'Bonding and Structure.' With its optional prerequisites in basic chemistry and math, this course focuses on the periodic table, stoichiometry, atomic bonding, and atomic and molecular structures. To raise awareness that science impacts culture in society, students look at science as an ever-evolving chain of ideas rather than a static string of facts as they learn. Students are also introduced to more in-depth topics in chemistry. This is a course for students who plan careers in science, and lectures are focused on preparing students for scientific careers.

Handouts, PowerPoint presentations, reference materials and a list of recommended and required items are included on the course page. To learn more about this chemistry course, visit the course page.
