Media Art III: Course Description

'Media Art III' is offered by the Studio Art Department of Capilano University in North Vancouver, Canada. The course is the penultimate section of a 4-part sequence in media art offered by the university. Students learn to create digital sound and video art to enhance their traditional artwork, such as paintings and sculptures. Students can then follow discussions and critiques of new artistic strategies and techniques that incorporate the new media. The course was created by Studio Art professor Toni Latour.
