Macroeconomics for Managers: Course Description

This undergraduate-level OpenCourseWare an introductory look at macroeconomic theory and practice. Professor Tyler Bowles, Ph.D., CPA, from Utah State University, teaches this lecture-based course. Students can expect to study such macroeconomic principles as fluctuations that occur in income, employment rates, and the policies that are adopted by governments to adjust economic parameters. The textbook for this course is Macroeconomics by Blanchard and is accompanied by A Study Guide for Macroeconomics from which the instructor derives review problems. The course follows the textbook very closely and quizzes are presented after each reading unit. The associated quizzes are multiple choice and are designed to underscore the technical material presented in each reading assignment.
