Engineering Management: Course Description

As an introduction to Engineering Management, this course provides fundamental techniques and principles that guide management decisions in research and development, finance and project development among other business areas. Specific topics include ethics, semantics, business plan, ratio analysis, total quality management and factors of success among other topics. In addition, the course examines several case studies to reinforce theory. The course is designed for all engineering students. The actual undergraduate MIT course is taught by Professors Jung-Hoon Chun and Alexander d'Arbeloff in lecture and recitation-style formats.
