College Algebra: Course Description

This free OpenCourseWare is designed to help students understand many of the key ideas behind college-level algebra. The course is divided into sections that cover such subjects as polynomial functions, matrix algebra, exponents and logarithms. Each section contains readings that define a particular subject and explain its use via graphs and examples. These are followed by homework assignments with answer sheets so students can test their comprehension and practice applying the concepts of the lesson. Also included with each lesson are worksheets with questions followed by explanations of how to determine the correct answer.
