Getting Started on Classical Greek: Course Description
This course is a primer in ancient, or classical, Greek. It aims to make students aware of the connection between ancient Greek and modern English. In addition, the course introduces the Greek alphabet and basic grammar. Specific topics include verbs, inflection, the Greek alphabet, the other vowels, parts of speech and Greek-derived words among other topics. The original course was designed for humanities and literature students.
