Research for the Classroom Teacher: Course Description

Starting with an introduction to research organization, Professor Nick Eastmond employs the Guided Design teaching model. This approach emphasizes problem solving as an educational tool. Students learn to locate the information they need, as well as how to design and undertake suitable research for their classroom's needs. Finding funding and school support for research is also discussed. All students use a text called Practical Research, but students choose their second text based on their target population, either K-12 or higher education and business.

Textbook list, course objectives, assignments and video lectures are part of this course. If you are interested, go to finding and designing research course page.
