'Microeconomics' is a free undergraduate OpenCourseWare offered by Utah State University that is intended as an introductory course in microeconomics for students who wish to build a foundation for understanding microeconomic principles and theories. Microeconomics: Course Description

This OpenCourseWare is an undergraduate course that presents the basic concepts and principles of microeconomics and describes the economics of the marketplace. Many microeconomic principles are presented including how both competitive and imperfectly competitive markets affect consumer, business and governmental choices. The required text Microeconomics, 6th edition by Boyes and Melvin is recommended for purchase. The course is lecture-based and is taught by Professor Tyler Bowes who holds both B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in the subject. The course is structured with homework assignments accompanying each reading assignment in order to cement the topics covered.
