Managerial Economics: Course Description

This OpenCourseWare is an undergraduate course which presents the basic tools and principles of managerial economics and describes how business decisions are based on and affected by this discipline. To be successful, a student must have completed introductory courses in microeconomics, business calculus and statistics. The course is lecture-based and is taught by Professor Tyler Bowes, Ph.D., of Utah State University. The required text Managerial Economics , 11th edition, Mark Hirschey must be purchased. Each lecture is accompanied by a quiz, helping students to fully understand the material before moving ahead to more advanced topics of study.
