Imaging in Medicine Course Description:

The 'Imaging in Medicine' OpenCourseWare is available through the Science and Nature Department of The Open University. In this course, students will learn to identify the types of the most frequently used medical imaging methods, explain the pros and cons of the each and explain the scientific process of common imaging methods. This course will focus on the technology behind and uses of x-ray, MRI, ultrasound and radio-nucleide imaging technologies. This is an advanced level self-directed course and is designed to be completed within 15 hours.
