Dynamics of Nonlinear Systems: Course Description

'Dynamics of Nonlinear Systems' is offered by Professor Alexandre Megretski and is designed for students with an interest in nonlinear dynamic systems. The course is broken down into seven areas: nonlinear behavior, mathematical language for modeling nonlinear behavior, linearization, systems invariants, system invariants, local behavior of differential equations, nonlinear feedback design and controllability of nonlinear differential equations. MATLAB will be used for homework assignments, so students should be familiar with this tool.

Lecture notes, problem sets and two exams are available free online. If you are interested in taking this OpenCourseWare, visit the dynamics of nonlinear systems homepage.
