Introduction to Nuclear and Particle Physics: Course Description
Professor Bernd Surrow originally taught 'Introduction to Nuclear and Particle Physics' in MIT's Physics Department in lecture format. The course looks at experimental and phenomenology foundations of nuclear and particle physics. It includes composites, particles and fundamental forces. 'Introduction to Nuclear and Particle Physics' OpenCourseWare explores the way in which particles interact with matter, W fields, Z fields, QCD, QED, gluon color and field, weak interactions and nuclei properties.
This free online course from MIT includes access to the reading list, some lecture notes and related resources. To learn more, please visit the particle and nuclear physics introduction course page.
