Georgia Perimeter College is the state's largest 2-year university, and accounts for more than one third of transfer students to the University System of Georgia. Approximately 24,000 students attend Georgia Perimeter. Georgia Perimeter College offers its students access to more than 42 associate's degree and certificate programs.

When students enroll, they must choose between two tracks which focus on career and transfer programs. Individuals enrolled in the career program earn an associate's degree that allows them to enter the workforce upon graduation. Students who choose the transfer track, earn the necessary credits to transfer to 4-year universities and complete a bachelor's degree.

Applicants to Georgia Perimeter College are required to have a high school diploma or GED, along with a GPA of 2.0. Individuals are not required to submit their ACT or SAT scores for admission.
