This OpenCourseWare from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology takes a look at the structures and methods for system identification. The subjects you will learn include model identifiability, parametrization, and structures; mathematical modeling of systems from observation of their behavior; state-space, time series, and input-output models; non-parametric methods; recursive estimation; order estimation; Kalman filter relation; structure determination; Akaike criterion; robustness and practical issues.
