Introduction to Psychology: Course Description

This OpenCourseWare from MIT breaks down several aspects of psychology to provide an overall introduction. Human behavior, consciousness and free will are explored. Lecture notes discuss the cognitive components of psychology, such as learning and gathering information, memory and language development. Students learn about psychology as it pertains to social exchanges, romance and other encounters. Because of the personal nature of psychology, students perceive the lecture material through their own experiences and the experiences of those around them.
