Operations Management Seminar: Course Description
This free course focuses on chain and industry evolution through the use of roadmaps by identifying factors, like innovative rates, improvements, company intents and trends. Students pursuing their Master of Business Administration learn to use this information to develop systems that can implement new and developing technology. Borrowing ideas about operations management from other well-run corporations is also discussed in this OpenCourseWare offered by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, MA. Different types of business and technological systems are also discussed along with corresponding management styles to both. MIT Professor Charles Fine teaches this course about improving the structure and technology of operations management. Through use of the roadmaps, students learn how to apply the various factors and trends into their own operations management systems.
