Modelling Static Problems Course Description:

'Modelling Static Problems' is offered by the Mathematics and Statistics Department at The Open University. In this course, students will explore how and why objects remain at rest, without motion. The class is divided into four segments in which students learn about modeling forces, multiple particles, torque and applications of these problems. This is a self-directed course and students should allow approximately four hours for its completion.

Course materials include downloadable course workbooks with solutions, an online video and a discussion forum. To learn more about this free online class, visit modeling static problems course page.
