Archaeology Field School: Course Description

The 'Archeology Field School' course is offered by the Anthropology Department of Capilano University in North Vancouver, Canada; 'Archeology Field School' was created by anthropology professor Bob Muckle. The course teaches students to read NTS maps, identify archaeological sites and create accurate maps using just a compass in site surveying. Students also learn how to excavate from a site and how to analyze those excavations at a laboratory.
