What are our best alternatives for future energy sources? Should we develop cleaner uses for fossil fuels or turn our attention to renewable energy sources? These questions form the heart of the 'Introduction to Sustainable Energy' course. Course materials discuss both current and developing options for energy and examine the potential for each. The varieties of sustainable energy options discussed include wind, wave, tidal and geothermal energies. The course provides an introduction for students planning to pursue studies in environmental sciences, or for anyone with an interest in the future of our energy supply. The course materials take an estimated three hours to complete.
