Relativistic Quantum Field Theory III: Course Description
'Relativistic Quantum Field Theory III' is the third class in the MIT Physics Department's sequence on quantum field theory and was taught by Professor Frank Wilczek. The course concentrates on particle physics' standard model, its specific structure and conceptual foundation. The course also considers current frontiers of research that grow directly from it. Topics includes concepts (confinement, anomalies and instantons), specific structures (Fermion multiplets, Higgs spectrum and Gauge boson) and frontiers (Higgs sector phenomenology and baryon and lepton number violation). The course consisted of lectures and recitations.
'Relativistic Quantum Field Theory III' OpenCourseWare provides access to the problem sets, reading list, lecture notes and online references. To learn more about this course, please visit the particle physics' standard model course page.
