This free MIT course explores how technology and the Internet have changed the way many businesses operate. Dr. John Macomber will work with his students to break down how companies incorporate today's technology into their business models and use it to earn a competitive advantage. Dr. Macomber will also talk about using technology as an incentive for competing businesses to work together. Actual examples are used throughout this course to give students a practical knowledge of how the material they are studying is used in the real world. Lectures, study materials, suggested readings, projects and assignments are available online for free for this course.
