Dynamic Systems and Control: Course Description

'Dynamic Systems and Control' OpenCourseWare shows students to study the linear, discrete- and continuous-time and multi-input-output control systems. Some of the lecture topics include transfer function matrices, optimal regulation, state-space models, modes, dynamic systems, system norms, observers and controllability. The on-campus course was taught by MIT Professor Munther Dahleh in 2003 in a lecture session format two times per week followed by recitations three times a week. Students taking this course should be familiar with MATLAB because the homework assignments incorporate the use of this software to work on problems.

This OpenCourseWare includes lecture notes, assignments, recitations and exams. If you would like more information on this free course, visit the dynamic systems and control course page.
