Founded in 1931 in Chicago, IL, DeVry University now has over 85 campuses in the United States and a campus in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Admissions and Enrollment Overview

Incoming freshmen must supply high school or GED transcripts with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0, pass a basic skills evaluation, and they may be asked to complete a placement exam.

The majority of DeVry University students who qualify receive some form of financial aid, including federal loans and grants, state aid and scholarships. The school also offers several payment plan options, such as installment payments or employer reimbursement plans.

Campus Facilities and Learning Environment

DeVry University's campuses feature full-service libraries, computer labs and state-of-the-art equipment. The school's online campus includes a virtual library, student chat rooms, an online bookstore and all-hours online access.

Campus classroom size is usually small with an average of 25 students per instructor. DeVry students can attend classes on campus, online or a combination of on campus and online courses. Both online and on campus students receive one-on-one course feedback from instructors and have access to guidance counseling and other student services.
