The Champlain College, located near Lake Champlain in Burlington, Vermont, offers associate, bachelor's and master's degree programs. The college provides 2,000 undergraduate students degree programs in areas of study, including business, game design, education, human services, technology and pre-professional studies. From its founding in 1878, the college has grown to comprise almost 40 buildings on 22-acres, including resident halls. Champlain College was ranked in the top tier by U.S. News and World Report for bachelor's providing colleges in the North in 2008.
