Vectors and Conics Course Description:

In 'Vectors and Conics,' students will learn about the mathematical representations of lines, points, planes and vectors. Course topics include Euclidean geometry, scalar and planar vector math, ellipses, hyperbolas and a general conic equation. The course will help students to learn the properties of a variety of vector and conic shapes and how they interact with each other. This course serves as a primer to more advanced studies of two and three-dimensional geometric topics. This self-guided undergraduate-level Open University course will take about 20 hours to complete.

Online course materials include thorough unit notes with illustrations, an audio lecture, discussion forum and more. To enroll in this class, or to download course materials, visit the vectors and conics course page.
