The Moon: Course Description

'The Moon' is an undergraduate-level course that teaches students about the moon, including its surface, atmosphere, history, rotation and the possibility of living on the moon. Students will look at images of the moon and interpret various physical structures in order to explain the moon's characteristics. Additionally, the course will explore the history of manned moon missions, including the Apollo series of space voyages. This free OpenCourseWare is provided courtesy of The Open University's Science Department. This course will take an OpenCourseWare reader approximately six hours to complete.
