The Brain and Cognitive Sciences I: Course Description
'The Brain and Cognitive Sciences I' is the first in a 2-part series of cognitive science courses. It is intended for first-year graduate students earning master's degrees in Cognitive Science. Taught by professors Matt Wilson and Earl Miller, with lectures given by other top neuroscience researchers, the course looks at the way the nervous system works. Systems, molecules and cells are examined as key components of the nervous system. Topics include neurotransmitters, the motor system, sensory systems and cell biology.
