Research and Data Analysis in Psychology: Course Description

Professor Frederic Theunissen of UC Berkeley presents the course material for 'Research and Data Analysis in Psychology' in three main sections. The first part of the course serves as a review of statistics and introduces variance, distribution and hypothesis testing. The middle section of the course covers t-tests, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and other statistical analysis methodologies. The final portion of the course is spent exploring two-way ANOVA and correlation statistics. These topics are a departure from the usual undergraduate psychology studies because they focus on the methods and formulas used in psychological research. This undergraduate level course, presented by the UC Berkeley Department of Psychology, is appropriate for any student interested in earning a bachelor's degree in Psychology.

The free course materials include 39 downloadable audio lectures. To download the course materials, visit the psychology research and data analysis course page.
