In it, business students explore risk aversion and learn how to quantify risk. Through a series of notes and assignments, they practice calculating possible outcomes for hypothetical companies. Students can also practice calculating investment returns, gaining hands-on experience through example figures. Other key topics covered include identifying various risk factors, including background and maturity of investments and exploring the role of net present value in determining the appeal of a particular investment.
