Tennis: Course Description

Designed as an introduction to the game of tennis, this course offers an explanation of both the rules of the game and tennis stroke technique. The 'Tennis' OpenCourseWare is taught by Professor Carol Matsuzaki of MIT. While emphasis is placed on learning the basic strokes of the game, several variations of those strokes will also be explained. Many drill ideas are also suggested, which equip students with the ability to practice on their own. This undergraduate-level course is offered through the university's Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation.
