System Architecture: Course Description
Design new engineering systems and evaluate their effectiveness by analyzing current systems and developing an understanding of their principles. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)'s School of Engineering in Cambridge, Massachusetts, challenges students to think critically about designing engineering systems and making them more effective. Students learn the importance of implementing new and existing technologies into their architectural designs and staying up-to-date on technological advances. The course also focuses on steps used to achieve the specific needs and goals for each system while maintaining cost-effectiveness. Learn to create systems that are easy to implement for a variety of needs that are reliable and easy to operate. Professor Edward Crawley teaches this course about thinking about the project as a unified system and thinking outside of the box to create new and original designs for engineering systems.
