Leading Organizations: Course Description

Originally taught by Professor John Van Maanen, this course helps students to become aware of human procedures that are behind change in and behavior of an organization. Students investigate these sociological and psychological occurrences in an organization. The ultimate aim of the course is to help students understand better the forces in play so that they can manage them better. Topics discuss include learning styles, career anchors, systems of reward and incentives and organizational change models.
