Introduction to Computers in Public Management II: Course Description
This follow-up to 'Introduction to Computers in Public Management' offers numerous real-world examples and encourages hands-on learning to provide students with the basics of building and using databases. Students learn about data input, output, queries and the relational model of database design. By the end of the course, students can use demographic data to create maps that are accurate and easy to understand. MIT instructors Professor Lorlene Hoyt, Professor Joseph Ferriera and Thomas Grayson lead this course, and translations are available in Portuguese and Spanish are available.
Lecture notes, lab exercises, assignments, study materials and some readings are available for free online.
