Health Across the Life Span: Frameworks, Contexts and Measurements: Course Description

This free course is based on a series of lectures presented by Henry Mosley and Kristin Mmari from the Department of Population, Family and Reproductive Health at Johns Hopkins University. 'Health Across the Life Span: Frameworks, Contexts and Measurements' teaches students several important principles and concepts, including understanding the disease-based approach to the health of populations. In addition, students who complete this course will examine several behavior change models and learn the steps used to assess and evaluate factors that influence health. Course participants will investigate several case studies that examine health determinants and mortality according to sex and gender.
