Introduction to Anthropology: Course Description

This OpenCourseWare from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology teaches students how to think analytically about their lives and the lives of those in other cultures. The focus is on an appreciation of cultural differences and a study of other societies and cultures through fieldwork. The course looks at the sub-fields of anthropology, including archeology, biological anthropology and linguistics.
