The concept of culture plays a vital role, both in and out of the business world. This course seeks to define culture in both an organizational and national context. In it, students begin by learning how cultural perceptions affect worldviews. They also embark on a detailed study of the theory of national culture. The course then leads students through a series of activities that explore various different accounts of and several differing perceptions on culture. Other activities focus directly on the theory of national culture, exploring its proposed four dimensions and other related topics. This is a 15-hour course.
